Autobot Ratchet is the Autobots ‘Medical Officer.’ Autobot Ratchet transforms from robot to a Humvee vehicle mode that is modified into an emergency vehicle/ambulance suitable for getting into difficult to get into and hard to access places.
Transformer Ratchet Back Story
If Autobot Ratchet had an option he would prefer to be out partying than fighting Decepticons. But he has good personal reasons to hate the Decepticons and in the revenge of the fallen and animated universes he has an arch rival pairing with Lockdown, the Decepticon bounty hunter who stole his EMP generator for use as a weapon rather than a medical instrument.
And, as a well-seasoned veteran of war he knows this latest battle will determine the fate of the universe so will let nothing stop him from supporting his allies to a safe and victorious battle result against Megatron and his assembled Decepticon Army in the northern Sahara Desert.
In Autobot Ratchet‘s Revenge of the Fallen Movie incarnation he works a lot with Jolt the chevvy Volt.
